As CEO and Co-Founder of DailyFeats, Veer helps the whole DailyFeats team realize its shared purpose: to make positive action part of everyday life. As an entrepreneur and innovator, he puts his energy toward solving the great problems of our time. As a husband and father, he cares for his family: wife Nina, son Vayav, and daughter Naiya.
Prior to DailyFeats, Veer was Director and Co-founder of Humanity Calls. Humanity Calls was a fundraising tournament website designed to bring together nonprofits, companies, and individuals focused on addressing global causes. In 2010, Humanity Calls, in partnership with eBay, ran a successful tournament for the environment which resulted in donations to dozens of top nonprofits.
Veer was CEO and Co-founder of Control-F1 which was an industry leader in Support Automation. Control-F1 had over 100 customers worldwide, 50 employees and raised ~$13M in venture capital. Veer started Control-F1 in the midst of completing his degree in business at the University of Western Ontario. In December of 2005, Control-F1 was acquired by CA, one of the world's largest software companies with over $4B in sales. Veer most recently served as Executive Advisor to the EVP of Technology and Products. Prior to that he was head of sales for one of CA's North American business units (~$75M in revenue).
Veer was a Director of and a primary investor in Neurosilicon. Neurosilicon developed novel brain computing interfaces to expand the scientific understanding of the human brain, to revolutionize and improve the effectiveness of drug discovery, and to develop therapeutic technologies for neurological disorders.
Veer was named to Maclean's Magazine "Top 25 Under 30" and was a Finalist for the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002. Veer placed second at the Canadian National Debating Championship and fifth at North American Debating Championship in 1998.
